The Power of Silence!!

Image
Jai Guru Deva, Couple of weeks back I did my advance course in the Ashram. The major attraction of the advance course is the opportunity to stay in silence for few days. This concept of silence sounds very weird to people who are not associated with Art of Living and generally a source of jokes and satire on the spiritual path. For me, silence is perhaps the greatest bliss I ever enjoyed. There is no greater joy, there is no deeper ecstasy and definitely no bigger comfort. My job is project management and I end up participating in a lot of stressful conversations whether I like it or not. Not always these conversations leave me in high spirits. On a personal side also, my life is very very eventful and ensure that I get the true gist of my presence on this planet. So silence helps a lot to cleanse the negative impressions that I get and the negative emotions that I may end up carrying. It has been almost 20 days since I did my course and I didnt get angry even once. (I didnt get ...

I am a blesser!!!

Jai Guru Deva, I would like to inform everybody that I am a blesser now and I can bless people who are suffering. Anybody who is going through any physical/mental/emotional pain can contact me for blessing and I will bless that person. Any one can ask me to bless through comment section of this post. I need not know any kind of identity regarding the person who is asking the blessing. You can ask blessing for any person in your circle. I will bless that person. I need absolutely no details of that person. What is "becoming blesser"? Blessing a beautiful gift Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankar ji had given to the mankind. In reality this was an ancient tradition in Hindu religion which was conveniently forgotten in the course of time. Art of Living have a course called Blessing course where one will undergo certain processes and meditations so as to become a blesser. This does not mean others are not eligible to bless people but this is a way to have some satisfaction as y...

Today's message from Guruji!!!

Image
Jai Guru Deva, here is the message from Guruji today: Life will always move in the direction of the best. On the way you may find some rough roads, but they will lead you to a better life. Difficulties give you depth and joy gives you width. The wise see their past as destiny, the future as free will and are happy in the present. The unwise regret the past, think the future is destined and are miserable in present. The choice is yours. Keep smiling. The past has taught us many lessons; what we should be doing and what we should not. Every pain that we went through brought us some depth, and all the joys and pleasures gave us a new vision of life and hope for the future. Sarvejana Sukhinobhavantu, -Karthik

My Top-10 Bhajans

Image
Today is world Music day..  so just remembering my favourite bhajans.. few years back my computer contained almost 20GB of Pop, Rock and movie songs.. now I dont have any english songs.. ofcourse I still have some telugu movie songs but absolutely no English.. May be I'm done with Linkin Parks, MLTRs and MJ  for this life time.. Jaya Janardhana Krishna Radhika Pathe.. Amazing lyrics with fantabulous singing. I dont know the kid who sang this song but for all the joy I got I really wish I could hug the kid once.. Feel so blessed when I listen this song. Krishnam Vande Paramanandam Vande.. This is another awesome song.. wonder how a human voice attains perfection so easily when sung with devotion.  Is it because of human dedication or power music or Divine order..I really have no clue.. One lady (I forgot her name) had sung this song in "Naadavaibhavam" for me that was one of the best moments of my life.. Narayana Naraya...

Madras Trip!!!

Wow.. thats the only word which I comes to my mind when I think about my Naada Vaibhavam trip.. I'm not going to write about the Naada Vaibhavam again but just trying to relive the whole of trip through this post.. It has been one week since I came back to Bangalore but still all the events are very much afresh.. all the bonds which were made in that trip seem to be very strong.. may be thats the greatness of belonging!! Firstly, let me give a brief introduction about the team.. the team consists of 45 crazy, weird and cranky people(i'm one of them :)).. A teenager who spends 90% of his day either on facebook or thinking about facebook.. A girl who completed engg. but looks like a high school child.. (I bet she eats only once a week!) A Doctor who looks everything in terms of scientists and enzymes. A Kannadiga who  claims to have known only English movies(but cant recognize few latest movies though :)) A couple of ice cool organizers who seems to have lost the nerve ...

Naada Vaibhavam!!!

Image
"Miracle", "8th Wonder", "Fantabulous", "Amazing" All the above words combined will not suffice to explain the feeling with which I'm writing this post..  A day of Bliss, A day of Eternal joy A day of Completeness A day of Music Finally, A day of Divinity Ladies and  Gentlemen, thats " Naada Vaibhavam " For some experiences we wait for weeks, for some experiences we wait for months. Believe me, for this experience I have waited for few carnations..Some experiences are better unexplained, it is one such.. thats the least I can say about it.. the thought of 5000 musicians is always exciting(in the end we had 5700+).. but the grace took me into such a state that I'm unaware of my emotions.. All I remember is the tears in my eyes when they started singing the Annamacharya Keertana.. Dont know what had actually happened to me but I felt so full and complete as if I'm at the top of the world.. Yes, I'm sure "I WAS ...

3yrs @ Bgl: contd

As I mentioned in my last post that the last one year had been very eventful and evenly exciting. one reason why it is so exciting is that I started living alone and for the first two months I neither  had a computer nor a TV. Given the kind of "modern lifestyles" we have it sounds little weird to lead such a life. However, in those two months I never felt I was missing something. And regarding staying alone, people ask me "Dont you get bored?" I reply "bore! how does it look like?"..  I sound little arrogant but I have rationale behind it. My sister gifted me a book and there is a question in that which goes like "If you get bored being with you, how boring you should be to others?".. How true!! And in the month of August I happen to do the YES+ course of "Art of Living Foundation". After this, time ran so quickly that I didnt even realize how fast it was! Regular practice of the "Sudarshan Kriya" increased my energy level to...
