an exam can change ur life

last night as usual i tried hard to sleep but failed to sleep by 1am. this is the nth time i am failing in the last couple of weeks. i went thru all my soal mates like Sherlock Holmes, Swami and tintin but failed to sleep. then i went to the most common IITian option, watching a movie. i am happy to find "chukkallo Chandrudu"(thanx to DC++) and watched that movie till 3:30am and slept at 4:30am. all thru that time i laughed with my frens, making fun with the dialogues and enjoyed well. Exactly six days back in the same room at the same time i was feeling very disturbed coz of my insomnia. At 2am i tried to sleep but failed. i tried to read something for the exam next day. but i felt very drowzy and my eyes started paining. At last i meditated for half an hour(thanx to VIMP) and slept. in both the cases mentioned above, the test sample is myself and the working conditions are same except an exam, but results are in contradiction to each other. the simple reason for this happe...

Here Comes Phoenixs' Nest!!!

With  the eternal grace of the God and the infinite love of my well wishers I had bought an apartment in Electronic City, Bangalore. On Saturday the 6th of Aug, 2011 I had finished the registration formalities as well. This happens to be the first property that I bought for myself. Though I am a staunch believer of the concept "Everything belongs to me and Nothing is permanent", I am very pleased with this development because my parents were very happy.. My father called up few of his college friends and told them that next time they visit Bangalore they can come to our place. Making parents happy is a major motivating factor of my life. And many times thats the easiest part because my mom will be very happy whenever I go back home ;) Apart from that there is a long saga behind this and fittingly God has chosen this date for the registration process. (My) Story of Bindi!!

Disclaimer: The content of this post is purely one of the several biases that I carry. I neither lament about them nor try to become unbiased. Because THIS IS THE WAY I AM. It means no reference to anyone dead or alive ;-) In India bindi is a predominant custom among woman of all religions. Apart from Hindus, many sects of Christianity and few sects of Islam practice this tradition. Keeping bindi is also treated as a symbol that the woman is not a widow. How did the tradition of bindi started?? As per the Ancient Indian philosophy every part of the body is recognized as a place for someone.. For e.g. heart is the place for loved ones. Similarly the place between the eye brows is the position of the Teachers, so as a token of respect to the Guru/teaching community the idea of bindi was introduced.
