I need 36 hours!

Image
YES! I really need 36 hours per day.. life is so eventful and the world is full of amazing people how can I compromise with just 24 hours.. I just cant!! For the last few weeks i'm so choked that I could not find space to write a post in pramaadavanam and finally copy/pasted some crap. Not only this, there are quite a few things which I want to do but I'm not doing and miss them dearly.. let me chalk out what are the things that I'm really longing to do but could not do as much as I like: 1. Playing with my nephew. yeah, I wish to spend at least one day per week with him but off late could not do so .. He is a first quality brat (as I was in my childhood) who uses my branded jeans as a toilet paper and  smartly maneuvers the situation with his chubby smile making me ignore remaining things. 2. Doing yoga for two hours. I seriously miss padma sadhana, the ultimate energy booster. nothing more is needed to make one "citius, altius, fortius" :) 3. Reading the no...

Friendship Day 2010

Today, until now I received 12 text messages and almost same number of mails  containing some nice touchy(?) quotes followed by "Happy Friendship Day"  so was giving a little thought about this concept called "FRIENDSHIP".. In the meanwhile I remembered a quotation I read somewhere which goes like: "You should trust people, because if you are right then you will get a friend, otherwise you will learn a life worthy lesson. Either ways you should trust people" Two people whom I believed as my friends for years have taught me unforgettable lessons (once in 2005 and the worst in 2008)..The problem here is that the lesson which you learn is sometimes so painful that it makes you feel living one foot away from hell. It is because of this phase that people never trust again lol.. So the big question remaining: "Is friendship needed? If yes, why?" let me do some brainstorming.. who are the best friends I have? Do I have any?  Are there anyone who ...

3yrs of Bangalore life

by last week i have completed 3yrs of my bangalore life.. another amazing episode of my life with many great people adding a lot of value to me and made my stay a dream.. first year of my Bangalore life  was with my 3 other friends and it was only a logical extension of my hostel life.. the only thorn in the flesh was that some people whom I trusted as my friends let me down with their behavior but then its only human to make mistakes.. on the other side there were people who gave me lift and ended up as my family members..life rocks!!! the specialty of this period was staying as  neighbors to burial ground. I wonder how agitated the ghosts would be for having been victimized by our stay.. we had an excellent house owner who would be boozing at 9am everyday. I never understood whether he starts afresh in the morning or could not complete the one started last night.. however he gave us complete license to make as much noise as possible until and unless other neig...

Happy birthday Ramu!

today, its 1st April. popularly known as All Fools day!! its only a wild coincidence that some one like Ramu born on this day. There will be many people in our lives who will help us if we ask them but there will be only a few who will help us before we asking them, and they are called as "FRIENDS". Ramu certainly belongs to that category and always my trustworthy friend. I would cherish each and every moment of my life which i spent with him, may it be in the bus journey from the college or the lunch hour or the subject discussions in the library. I still remember how he grinned at me and said "its ok" after I blasted him for neglecting the call from IITB. only he can do that. thinking about it, now I realize only very few will have that courage to face, when some one criticizes our deeds. dts the reason he is always a friend to cherish. I just wrote some memories of mine in my telugublog . I wish to write much more but space is always a limit. once again, many ha...

Best Friend's week

Image
As this week is called as the Best Friends' week i thought this would suit to be in my blog. some how i like this card very much. i dont remember who sent it to me but I sent to people who are very special to me. The same goes true with the story below as well. A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE. They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE. The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?" The ...

jus about 45min ago train no:2225 left kanpur station to Delhi. a mob of iitians were on the platform and only one lean person with a hair style of a rock star entered the train and the train went on its unending journey making way for a new turn in that person's life. No one in the train knew that this person's journey is not to Delhi but to Technical University of Munich, Germany. no one knew that this person is goin places in his career. almost 13months ago i entered room no: C-211 of Hall4. in the first week of my stay i didnt met any one from the IME dept. then an andhra fren of mine showed a person leaner than me with spectacles in eyes named "prabhakar". this is the same person left iit a couple of hours ago. first thing i recognised about him is his telugu accent which is very strange to me. and his feelings are also same regd my telugu. as we ppl hail from two extreme corners of AP we never came across one others' language. though he is a domicile of AP h...

IME rocks

Image
i dont really know how to start this post.. let me put it this way IME rocks IME rocks IME rocks yes this is what happened in the fourth floor of "celebrations" last friday evening. it was a great evening for all of us. as it is the last function with our beloved seniors we thought it should be memorable for all of us. and it turned to be so. we reserved the fourth floor of "celebrations" and we are supposed to reach there by 7pm. but my class mates are too punctual to do that. so we started at the hostel by 7pm and reached there by 7:45pm. then started the real event. we called each of our seniors on to the dais and interviewed, ragged, discussed with them. to be precise we had a great fun with them. the conversation from the hotseat went as follows: mayank sir: the first to take the hot seat. we people forced him to do tell the embarassing moments of his life and he explained his college ragging incident. though he told only one incident we made many inferences fr...

balu..ABCDEF

Image
almost seven years back i was as usual playing cricket in the street(by bunking the school). the captain of the other team said that "i'll take balu" referring 2 a kid of 4th class. my team captain responded with a similar dialogue "i'll take this balu" showing a guy looking a bit fat with sharp eyes and serious face. i never knew that this guy is going to be come my pal soon. the same guy roamed with me for next six years and presently doing Mtech(VLSI design) at NIT Trichy. the only thing most of the time we did was talking 2 each other till we completed Btech. i never thought that he 'll do engg along with me coz he had better chances and i was sure that both of us can do Mtech at same place. but none of them happnd. we did engg together and moved away for Mtech. thats life!!! whenever i think of balu i recall the many evenings which we used to stay with each other. we used laugh like anything making fun of all the things around us. one incident which...
